in class we learned how to draw faces from the front. our assignment was to draw ourselves on a black sheet of paper, in a dark area, with only one light shining from the side. it really made us focus on shadows. enjoy

jame's shoe

so our first drawing assignment was to draw someone's foot. jame's looked ok, so i drew it.

I really liked Tommy Kane's work on his blog. I appreciated how he could just sketch freely without being a perfectionist and his work turns out amazingly. What really stood out to me in his art work was his abstract take on things and his use of color to make his drawings really jump out to catch your attention.
