Design Research on Designers
Designers Design Research
Wallace E. Cunningham
Wallace E. Cunningham utilizes state of the art materials in his projects. i really like how his architecture is very streamline and stays the same all throughout the entire design.
Steven Ehrlich
Steven Ehrlich has won seven AIA awards. what he is most known for is his mud and thatch experimental theater in Zaria, Nigeria. in 2003 his firm was named firm of the year.
Savin Couelle
Savin Couelle has a very unique design style. i thoroughly enjoy his use of curves and different shapes in his architecture.
Richard Landry
Richard Landry is best known for designing large scale houses for many famous clients like Eddie Murphy. his designs are based on functionality and how the home owner will use it over the years.
Michael Graves
Michael Graves is not a typical architect. he doesn't only design the houses, but he covers every detail of the house, including sustainability and functionality as well as aesthetics.
Margaret McCurry
Margaret McCurry doesn't believe in the theory that, "Bigger is better." Instead, she likes to think that the uniqueness of a house is better and it is shown through the personality of her clients. I really like this house because it truly stands out from it's environment.
Marco Aldaco
Marco Aldaco designs his homes so that they fit in with the environment around them so they don't stick out like a sore thumb. he only uses the basic materials because he finds them more practical and cheaper.
Edward Tuttle
Edward Tuttle designs furniture and accessories for hotels and some residences. Even though he was educated as an architect, he likes to design interiors and furniture.
Antoine Predock
I really like how Antoine uses line in his structures to create really cool effects with shadows. His firm builds all kinds of structures from houses to museums .
